The images you upload
Images are sent encrypted to our processing server, processed, and returned to your browser. The temporary files the process creates are deleted automatically after a short window.
They aren't tied to any identity, because there are no accounts: we ask for no email, no name, no password. We don't review uploads by hand and we don't use them to train any model.
What is logged
The server keeps technical request logs (date, operation, file size and IP address) for a limited time. They exist to catch abuse and diagnose failures, and are not used to profile anyone.
Analytics
We measure site usage with Cloudflare Web Analytics, in aggregate, to learn which tools are needed and which aren't.
It uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and builds no identifier that follows you between sites or between visits. That's why this measurement doesn't ask for your consent: there is nothing to consent to.
Advertising and cookies
This site is funded by advertising. Once advertising is active, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads and measure their performance, including ads personalised to your previous browsing.
You can manage your ad preferences in Google's ad settings, and withdraw consent at any time from the site's consent banner.
Cookies strictly necessary for the site to work need no consent; advertising and measurement cookies do, and they aren't loaded until you give it.
Who handles your data
Lite Editor is an independent project run from Mexico by its owner, as an individual. There is no company behind it and no third party shares responsibility for your data, beyond the providers named on this page.
Images are processed on a dedicated server rented in Finland, inside the European Union. The site itself is served from Cloudflare's network.
Your rights
You can ask what data concerns you, have it corrected, or have it erased, by writing to the contact address. Since there are no accounts, in most cases there is no data tied to you for us to find.
